Weather Conditions
While we usually plan the flight on weather conducive for the flight but sometime unanticipated bad weather may forced the balloon to land down before planned time or your flight may be postponed for some hours ahead.
After the flight
You will thereafter celebrate in the traditional style with champagne (well, an excellent sparkling wine) before a full English breakfast.
The things you can spot while in the air

Day 1: Start Time
Start time: 5:00am
Place: Central Serengeti lodge or camp,
Transport: Landrover to the launch site near Masai Kopjes.
Here you will meet your pilot, receive a flight briefing and watch the inflation of your balloon. We will take off at sunset and get rising at sunrise and float to whichever direction the morning will take us. Your pilot can precisely control the altitude of your balloon: sometimes flying at treetop height, sometimes lower, offering a unique perspective and great photographic opportunities of the wildlife below.
He may ascend to 1000′ or more to see the enormity and wonderful panorama of the Serengeti plain. From time to time the pilot must put more heat into the balloon with the powerful whisper burners. In between these burns, there is silence apart from the natural sounds below.
Day 2: Breakfast and Day Activities

Just visualize that you are sitting beside the table under the shade of a classic umbrella tree on the Serengeti Plain. The table is laid with bone China and king’s silver cutlery.
Time: 9:30am:
Arrive at Seronera at 9:30am ready to continue with your day’s activities.
Fresh tropical fruits, warm freshly baked bread and English traditional breakfast of bacon, sausage, eggs, mushroom and tomato are all served by stewards in customary Swahili dress.
