Day 1 Registration at Londorossi gate

Registration at Londorossi gate Drive through different farmlands with open stunning views to Lemosho road. Partake a lunch at the road before beginning walking.
An easy day of walking to a small trail traversing through the beautiful lush forest.
We will have our camp at Lemosho Big Tree Camp (2,650 m); [2-3 hours]

Day 2 At Shira One” (3,550 m). [6-7 hours]

Cross the moorland region of massive heather.
Experience gradual pathways with extensive views of landscapes and nature to the rim of the Shira Plateau.
Experience the wilderness in the afternoon mists
Camping at the center of the plateau at “Shira One” (3,550 m). [6-7 hours]

Day 3 At Shira Hut (3,840 m). [4-5 hours]

Doing some acclimatization by exploring the volcanic rock formation of Shira Plateau.
Walking to the summit of Shira Cathedral then to the camp at Shira Hut (3,840 m). The campsite is surrounded by spectacular views, near the glaciated Kibo and the jagged rim of Shira Plateau.
The views include memorable Mt. Meru floating in the clouds. [4-5 hours]

Day 4 At the Great Barranco valley (3,900 m), [5-7 hours]

Experience constant rise up with extraordinary views
Leaving the moorland plateau at the back to walk on lava crests beneath the glaciers of the Western Breach.
Drop to the foot of the Great Barranco valley (3,900 m), surrounded by high cliffs and with broad views of the plains far below. [5-7 hours]

Day 5 At Karanga (4,000 m),[4-5 hours]

Progress through a sharp slope up to Barranco Wall to a swelling trail on the south-eastern flank of Kibo, with very impassive panoramas of the Southern Icefields.
The terrain change to scree, with some lush vegetation in blocked hollows near the camp at Karanga (4,000 m) with the last water point on the way to the summit. [4-5 hours]

Day 6 At the South-East valley (4,800 m). [3-5 hours]

Trek to dense scree with ample views that increase with altitude unrelentingly to the Barafu campsite (4,600 m)
Have our lunch at the campsite
Undertake a short acclimatization walking in the plateau at the bottom of the South-East valley (4,800 m).
Spend the rest of the day resting planning the final ascent very early night. [3-5 hours]

Day 7 To Uhuru Peak (5,896 m), Millenium campsite (3,800 m) [11-15 hours]

Start trekking very early in the morning at about 1.00 a.m. to catch up the Crater rim by sunrise.
Walk over the slack volcanic scree with some well-graded zig-zags and a slow but steady pace to Stella Point (5,735 m) Resting at Stella Point for a short time to enjoy the sunrise over Mawenzi.
Optional two hour round trip from here along the crater rim to Uhuru Peak (5,896 m), passing near the fantastic glaciers and ice cliffs that still occupy the majority of the peak.
Drop to Barafu fast and after some refreshment; we continue to the final campsite (3,800 m) Millenium. [11-15 hours]

Day 8 At Mweka gate (1,650 m) [4-6 hours]

Descent all the way via the prolific greenish forest to Mweka gate (1,650 m) and go on via coffee and banana farms to Mweka village [4-6 hours]
